How to Make Tangy Fruity Curd Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • As per number of person cooked plain rice.
  • 2 cup Curd
  • 1 mid sized Onion finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato finely chopped
  • 2 green chilly
  • Ginger beaten.
  • Fresh fruits like pomegranate, Pineapple, grapes.
  • Finely chopped raw mango (optional)
  • Ghee roasted cashew nuts
  • 1 table spoon oil
  • 1 tea spoon urad dal
  • 1 tea spoon rai
  • 1 tea spoon channa dal
  • Kadipatta

Method:

Its best to cool the cooked rice to room temperature to have the best taste. So make sure you cook the rice and keep it aside to cool it and also make sure not under fan, other it will dry.

This recipe is quite easy and fast to be prepared as the same time if you are curd and rice lover you will really like it.

Take 2 cup of curd and grind it partially without adding water in it. Now take a pan and add 1 table spoon oil and heat it. Once heated add rai, urad dal, channa dal, green chilly, kadipatta and beaten ginger. This is a typical tadka for the curd. You will get very soothing smell of it, just pour that tadka in prepared curd.

Now add finely chopped onion, tomato, mango chopped, cashew nuts and fruits in it. Mix it well adding tasted needed salt. Your basic curd is ready, its time to mix the curd in rice.

This part is very gentle, you need to very gently mix the curd and rice otherwise rice may get smashed. Once properly mixed garnish it with coriander and cashew nuts.

Your simple fruity and tangy curd rice is ready to be served.
