Capsicum is one unique vegetable goes good with many recipes. Its mild chilly flavor adds good taste to any sabzi. Even capsicum salad is good side dish to many spicy foods.
Today we are describing recipe to cook Sukhi Capsicum. This is dish is prepared dry enough to be served with rice or may be with roti too.

Let’s go through the ingredients needed
- 2 Capsicum
- 1 Chopped Onion
- Ginger Garlic paste
- Some Curry Leaves
- 2 Table spoon Oil
- Coriander powder
- Turmeric powder
- Finely chopped coriander leaves
- Hand crushed pepper
- Dry coconut powder

Process to Cook Sukhi Capsicum Pepper Masala
Take a pan and heat it adding 2 table spoon of oil. Once oil is slightly heated add 1 tea spoon of Rai and 1 Tea spoon Jeera. Give gentle stir and add the fresh curry leaves. Once you hear the cracking sound you need to add the chopped onion. With this add salt and saute the onion for a minute or so.
Once onion is slightly sauted add the turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste in it. Mix the content well and let the raw smell of paste evaporate. Now you need to add the capsicum and mix the content well enough.
Don’t put any lid while cooking, just keep stirring the capsicum for 4-5 minutes. Capsicum is a very soft vegetable it doesn’t need heavy cooking at all, with few minutes you will it’s partially cooked.
Here is the part you add the 1 table spoon coriander powder and red chilly powder as per your taste. Again mix the content well and let it be for a minute or so. You will see the dish is almost done, now you need give a flavor of coriander to it. Add the finely chopped coriander in it and mix it. You will feel the smoothing smell of capsicum with coriander.
Before getting off the flame just sprinkle the hand crushed pepper and gives a gentle stir.
All done your Sukhi Capsicum Pepper masala is ready to be served with rice or roti.
