It is known that Microsoft has its own operating system, Windows 10 Mobile, which is slowly rolling out to the Lumia devices, after it was introduced on the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. But if you remember the “Nokia X” line of mid-range smartphones, then you know that they ran on a different platform, Google’s Android OS. It seems that Microsoft hasn’t learned from its failure and now it’s preparing another Android smartphone, which will be called Nokia C1.
Nokia C1 the new device of Nokia family, yet the exact release date is clear. After long race in smartphone market, Nokia has again thought to go with Andriod platform.
Anyway they have planned to launch C1 with Android and Windows 10 platform. As far as the source Android 5.0 Lollipopbased will have cover more market, compared to Windows 10 which will be made available to limited market only.
It’s a little early to know all the details about this phone, but according to NokiaPowerUser, the smartphone will have a 5-inch screen and a 5.5-inch screen with a Full HD resolution.
Official image has yet not be revealed, GSM Arena has updated a leaked image though.
This device is forecased to come with 32GB of internal memory, which will be coupled with 2GB of RAM, while the phablet will support 3GB of RAM and the internal memory will be double. The processor will be an Intel, but we’re waiting for a confirmation from Microsoft.
The front camera will be 5MP on both variants, but it will be combined with 8MP (the small version) or 13MP (the phablet), and the rear camera will sit in the upper left corner. The connectivity options will include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP and GPS, and the device will include a microUSB v2.0 port.
