Layered Egg Paratha..Fastest and Yummy paratha for anytime of the day.

This is a traditional street side dish. Mostly available in north parts of India.It’s quite fast to be prepare and the same it very tasty too.

Let’s go through ingredients

  • 2 hard boiled egg or scrambled egg too.
  • Hand powdered pepper
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • Chopped green chilies
  • Red Chilly powder
  • Garam Masala
  • Chat Masala
  • 3 Table spoon butter
  • Wheat or Maida Loaf

Process to cook Layered Egg Paratha:

Get the boiled egg or scrambled egg. If boiled egg, get it finely crushed using a knife. Now in this add salt, chopped coriander, chopped green chilies and salt. Mix it well to get the good taste.

Sprinkle masala, for this you need to mix garam masala, red chilly powder, chat masala and little salt. This is the masala we will use it for garnishing inside paratha.

Now take the loaf and spread it as much as thin possible, no need to worry about shape here. As we need it as good layer later on. You need to spread the butter on this spread loaf.Once you the loaf is finely spread you need to sprinkle the prepared masala over the it. Now the spread loaf, so that you can create a multiple layer of it.

Now arrange the half layer and than place the mixed egg content in centre. Now place the remaining layer over this egg mixture. Hand press it so that the layers are stacked good. As usual give a gentle pressure on side to make the paratha. Make sure its gentle so that egg stuffing doesn’t popsout.

Take a tawa or pan heat it well enough. This is a layered stuff so need to cook it well. Most on street side cook its deep fried in oil, but we suggest frying on tawa for better taste. For frying please use the butter. Fry both side gently on low flame for 7-8 minutes.

Your Layered Egg Paratha is ready to be served with Raita and pickle and Onions too.
